Show News

2008 has started off with a bang for McIntosh Stables!

The first weekend in January started off in Las Vegas at the PCHA year-end Awards Banquet, where Sarah Hansen and her wonderful horse Buddly (Arctic Dromin) received their year-end award for Children’s Jumper Champion

Two weeks later, we were in San Francisco for the NorCal year-end awards luncheon. Zoe West and Nikko (Next Best Thing) received the NorCal Champion in the Modified Junior/Amateur division. In addition, Jen Morris and NZPH Mana received a 9th place award in the AA division.

In addition to their NorCal win, Zoe and Nikko won the Bay Area Equestrian League Championship in the Modified Junior/Amateur division.

Micaela Scarpulla and Buddy (Gratius) also had a super 2007 season, including winning the $2,500 Jr/AO Jumper Derby at Pebble Beach.

We are so proud of our riders and it is exciting to share in their successes after all their hard work.

After the banquets, we packed up our gear and horses and headed off to Thermal, California for several weeks of showing in the desert. Thermal is a fantastic new facility and a great place to start the show season. With five jumper rings running, riders have ample opportunity for ring time.

Next up we have a show at Murieta, two weeks at Pebble Beach and then off to Brookside. Look for show results updates as we finish each week of showing.
